GIVING BACK HAS NEVER BEEN SO MUCH FUN
Are you familiar with Party for a Cause? Well, that's what we do. We have lot of fun crawling from pub to pub on Carolina Beach while raising money for worthy local animal charities.
In early 2014 Wayne Rouse, Harry Wade and Tim Morrison came up with the idea to hold a pub crawl to raise money to help purchase ballistic vests for the police dogs with the Carolina Beach Police Department K-9 unit.
The original plan was to hold just one Crawl in May 2014. However, the turnout for the first Crawl far exceeded expectations. Given the positive response from the Pleasure Island community, it was decided to continue Crawl for Paws and make it an annual event to be held on the weekend after Mother's Day in May.
Harry Wade passed away suddenly shortly before the Fall 2014 Crawl for Paws. His leadership and friendship will be missed. Ricky Brown has stepped up to serve on the Crawl for Paws organizing committee
